AKTION CLUB

Aktion Club is the newest member of the Service Leadership Programs of Kiwanis and is a community service group for adult citizens who live with a disability.

The mission of Aktion Club is to provide adults with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative, leadership skills and to serve their communities.

The Aktion Club aims to develop competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service. This is accomplished by focusing on the four core values of the Aktion Club, character building, leadership, inclusiveness and caring.

Aktion Club members strive to return to their communities the benefits, help, and caring they have received, as well as develop important skills in the process.

The Kiwanis Club of Middletown, in cooperation with the Chester Kiwanis Club and the Minisink Valley Kiwanis Club, is currently working with The Arc Greater Hudson Valley, the organization sponsoring the Aktion Club of Orange County in Campbell Hall, New York.
